[PATCH] Fixup direct filesystem call. We must always go through the VFS.

Something I missed when reviewing Metze's latest
patches.

Even for a debug statement we must always go
through the VFS, not make direct filesystem
calls (which may not reflect reality).

Please review and push if happy !
