I'm fine with it if you put the explanation also into the commit message.

I raised the limit to 1024 for, but this is a per process limit
and just adding more autobuild tasks should not cause such a change
that drives us into the limit.

I'd prefer to change it back to 512, I can't see why we every need more
than 512 fds except for tests, which try to explore the limits.
