Compiling talloc on cygwin fails with error

Hello everyone,

 Has anyone tried to compile talloc for Cygwin? configure script runs
 fine, but make produces the following error:

 ...
 [20/24] Linking default/talloc_test_magic_differs_helper.exe
 /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-cygwin/5.4.0/../../../../x86_64-pc-cygwin/bin/ld:
 cannot find -ltalloc
 collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

 Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions/workarounds? Any help would be
 appreciated.

 I have downloaded talloc- 2.1.9. My Cygwin environment is 64-bit and
 gcc is 5.4.0.
 I am trying to compile email-indexer notmuch, and talloc is one of its
 dependencies.
