It just came to my mind: Gary, you might want to talk to Nadya
Ivanova. She will tremendously benefit from thread-safe ldb and all
the module logic around it in her efforts to make this possible in
OpenLDAP code. It's probably just a tiny step towards that goal, but
to be able to share code with OpenLDAP, full thread safety in the
higher DSDB logic is absolute prerequiste.
