Sorry, the reference to the perl developer was meant to be for the
traffic_summary script.  This patch series is also very interesting,
and worthy of a good examination.  I'm incredibly excited to see
patches to build on what (by what was already being passed around)
others clearly were trying to allow.  

Our users have been asking for better logging for ages, it is great to
be able to finally do it.
