Yes it's the same.

Yeah, me too. Just hoping I didn't miss a codepath
that calls the init fn as removed the check for
the debug canary fn existing before calling on
this one :-).

Let's see if we get any more data from this.

If not - I know what we're doing Monday morning
in the lab :-).
