OK - the good news. With metze's patch I posted the private
autobuild has passed the:

[1919(13407)/1960 at 2h39m5s] samba4.drs.replica_sync.python(vampire_dc)(vampire_dc:local)

step with no errors. That's a good sign...

I have some other things I'm looking at but it's after
11pm here so I'm off to bed. I'll pick it up again tomorrow
morning unless you've fixed it by then :-).
