Would you please care to elaborate?
I'm quite confused by your reply: I try to explain the history of our
tooling, provide context for future historians and celebrate our
progress, but your response is to withdraw your patches? That doesn't
seem right.
I can only assume you have mis-read my reply and history lesson as some
kind of criticism.
Additionally, in case it wasn't clear to others from the patch:
ntlm_auth4 is deliberately not installed (install=false) and it isn't
tested (no tests were removed). Furthermore I don't know of any users
of the multiplex mechanism.
I hope I'm also reading you wrong, and this is all a big
miscommunication, but sadly we have been here enough times already that
I need to say this:
If simply receiving a reply or comment is enough for you to withdraw or
drop a patch, please re-consider your approach to Samba development.
