This bug seems to be introduced with kernel|||kernel-2.6.32-573.15.1.el6

RedHat recommends, if someone runs into the problem,  staying at
|kernel-2.6.32-573.14.1.el6|
until the bug is fixed (in 6.8 or in a next 6.7 kernel)
