Right. The question really is -- if I'm the only one compiling with
-O3 for the additional warnings, the Samba Team as a whole does not
see this as a priority. So if this implicitly stated neglect of -O3
developer builds is about to become policy, I will no longer try to
fix things with it.

So -- can the Team please come to a conclusion at some point whether
we want to please the additional warnings compilers emit at -O3 or
not? The history tells me not to do so.
