Great to see this going in! Question on the choice of token in smb.conf:

 +In Samba, multi-channel can be enabled by setting the new
 +smb.conf option "server multi channel support" to "yes".

Is there some reason you added a space to "multichannel"? It's a different spelling from the one folks might expect. And while it's clear to many of us, it may not be clear to users that multichannel requires SMB 3.x and does not apply to SMB1 nor to SMB2.x at all.
