Random build order

I have been noticing that the build system does not seem to build Samba
the same way twice. So I just tired a test. I unziped 4.3.0 and built
it saving the output of make in a log file. I then moved that asside and
did it again. Comparing the two log files I see that the linking was done
in quite a different order the second time. Just curious, but how does
this happen?
