FWIW At least Metze, Andrew and I all had positive interactions with
the Heimdal devs at some point and patches landed.

I wouldn't mind if we switched to MIT Kerberos at some point. Until
then, the redeeming feature of Heimdal is that it's the Kerberos
implementation that actually works.
