Recommended method to backup Samba4 Shares with Permissions

I found that rsync 3.0.7 doesnt seem to copy them which is the version on my production server, I stumbled upon dar (disk archiver) and have had great success getting it to copy xattrs. The good news for you is it claims to support differential backups :)
