Are you 100% sure? Yes, there is a reference to gencache, but I don't see
how we pass a gencache_stabilize() failure up the stack. Also, there are
LOCK_NOT_GRANTED returns in netlogon_creds_cli.c not related to gencache.

As auth_domain.c is not really heavily excercised anymore due to people
using winbind, can't this be some kind of race there?

Maybe even our g_lock implementation has a but?
