The main thing is: I'd like to go through the code with
someone. In particular the cluster replication engine has
some subtleties. Also, I'm not sure that we can make this
switch without a fall back in case something serious
happens that I did not foresee. I firmly believe it works
better than it did with the old code, but a patch that says

33 files changed, 2633 insertions(+), 2039 deletions(-)

is a bit scary to me :-)
