Wiki: How can I break numbered points across multiple paragraphs and have sub points

Hi folks,

In the Wiki's markup language can I have numbered points where one of
them is broken across multiple paragraphs?

Also, how to I add sub-points?

Ie:

1. Some blah blah blah:
    a. Some more blah blah
    b. Additional verbiage
2. Reiterating blah blah
