smbclient is a reproducer ...  Samba 4.1.12 ... selects NT LANMAN 1.0
rather than NT LM 0.12.

Of course, I might be wrong about that causing AIX to assume that
NTLMv2 cannot be used.

I will open a bug. Curious.
