Nice for several tasks, including seeing how much unrelated IO loads
increase Samba's latencies, which is important when the problem isn't Samba.

I'd compare latencies of the disks with response times of Samba overall
at increasing loads in IOPS, in hopes of saying something like "each
additional X IOPS after the first Y will slow the system by 0.Z
seconds", for a given disk configuration.
