The last major restructuring of the loadparm code has ended
up in a (at least to me) very bad situation. I find the
current loadparm code highly confusing. This is certainly
also my fault because I did not spend enough time reviewing
it when it went in. I want to avoid the same happing another
time.

So, what about you giving a presentation about your ideas at
SambaXP and we discuss where we are heading? These
fundamental mechanisms are better discussed face-to-face
than on a mailing list.
