That seems to be telling us that smbd is crashing at startup.

* Can you please let us know what versions of Samba and CTDB you're
  running?

* Are you able to find the core file that was dumped?  If so, are you
  able to generate a stack backtrace using gdb?  If abrtd is running
  then you might find something under /var/spool/abrt/.
