Need we port patches from socket_wrapper.git to samba.git

Hi guys,
I am very new with samba's development and i am compiling samba on OS X.
I hit some error and found some patches in
git.samba.org/socket_wrapper.git might be helpful. But the patches are
not in master branch of git.samba.org/samba.git.
The question is:
Will the patches be ported to samba.git and need we port it manually?
