If possible, I'd like to at lease get Volker's VFS changes
needed for leases into the tree before 4.2.0, even if the
rest of the code isn't there, so we don't have to wait
until 4.3.0 before we get leasing support (VFS will
get frozen for 4.2.0 without it if we don't get this
in).
