 From what you have posted, I fail to see how users can authenticate, 
now bear in mind that I am no expert, I expected to see a passdb backend 
line, see here: 
http://www.howtoforge.com/centos-6.4-samba-standalone-server-with-tdbsam-backend.

Are there any other servers in the workgroup/domain?

Also, could you please stop 'top posting', it breaks the flow, if you 
reply to a post at the bottom, it is easier to read and makes more sense.
