[urgent] Slow smbd

Hi Adam,

Thanks four your reply. The file server is configured for stand alone
with local authentication because I had some issues trying to set it up
as a domain member.
This means that winbind is not being used.
This problem must be related to smbd as it dessapears if I restart the
service.
