I see in KB:

This problem occurs when one of the following conditions is true: 
The computer that is running the Active Directory Users and Computers MMC 
snap-in does not have Server for NIS installed.
The computer that is running the Active Directory Users and Computers MMC 
snap-in has Server for NIS installed. However, a problem with the 
Nisprop.dll library prevents the UNIX Attributes tab from appearing.

I'm in the first case :  Server for NIS in not installed.

What is "Server for NIS" ?
