smb2_validate_message_id log message

I'm reposting this on the technical list after not getting any responses
on the general list. I'm not quite sure where the division is between
the two lists.

I am using samba 4.0.9 under Ubuntu server 12.04. The samba installation in question is a domain member and the primary file server in a mixed Linux/Win environment. The domain controller is also samba 4.0.9, . I occasionally receive messages like the following errors in my syslog:

smbd[2612]: [2013/10/30 14:06:25.368202, 0] ../source3/smbd/smb2_server.c:667(smb2_validate_message_id)
smbd[2612]: smb2_validate_message_id: client used more credits than granted, mid 8, charge 1, credits_granted 0, seqnum low/range: 8/0

On-line searching hasn't revealed much information about these messages. I see that there is a "smb2 max credits" configuration parameter, but the default is 8192 which doesn't jive with the above message. The documentation also says "You should never need to set this parameter." Is this something I need to worry about? If so, does anyone have any insight as to what might be causing this?

                      -Brian Martin
