Volenteers to review my patches? Anyone interested in pairing up with me?

G'day,

I've been trying to stick to this voluntary review proposal for the past
little while, but one thing has been a constant sore for me: I feel,
perhaps due to my timezone but more likely due to my area of work, that
I have difficultly knowing that I'll be able to get review in a specific
timeframe.

I do appreciate that I've eventually been able to get most of my patches
in, but I also get the feeling (correctly or otherwise) that I may
simply be asking the wrong people, given other commitments and
interests. That is, I don't ever feel certain as to if or when I'll be
able to get the patches reviewed, and that lack of certainty is quite
unsettling. That in turn is getting in the way of me being as
productive as I would like, so I want to address it if possible.

So, rather than guessing, is there someone on the team who would like to
work closely with me to review the changes I'm making? Just knowing
that you will look (yes/no/don't know/ask ...) at the changes each day
would make a massive difference to me.

For my part, I'm very happy to review patches across the entire tree
from all developers (both on and off the team), and you will notice that
I've done quite a bit of that of late. I'm happy to pick these up off
the samba-technical list, or be CC'ed on them, as for my part, patch
review (particularly of simple/uncontroversial patches) is generally a
first priority. Also, you may always feel free to ping me on IRC about
patches.

Finally, I would like to again get back into a pair-programming
arrangement, or even just to work closely with another team or community
member. I've generally found that I'm much more productive when I'm not
just working 'alone'. For example, Ricky Nance was a great asset to me
over last (Australian) Winter, with his constant encouragement over IRC
making the long road towards our 4.0 release much more productive and
far less tedious.

If you would like to work closely with me on the AD DC, please do let me
know.

Thanks,

Andrew Bartlett
