Winbindd using 100% of CPU. Any solution?

OK, I think I have the smoking gun.

Here is what I see in the log:

It seems that there are two domains with similar names and winbindd is
treating them the same:

Here is what wbinfo -m shows me:

...
EXCHANGE
XCHANGE

And here is what happens if I try to get info on those domains ...

How can I find out more about that similarly named domain?
