Unfortunately, the patchset created a lot of noise in the buildfarm as
various hosts in it do not have gettext available and now configure
aborts if it cannot be found and --without-gettext is not given.

So it seems like the hosts (namely SerNet-imini, SerNet-IRIX, hpisgr8
and SerNet-Tru64) would need adoptions to their local build configs.

Can this be done remotely or do we have to ping the maintainers of these
machines to add the --without-gettext option?
