I certainly don't want to see the release blocked, because I don't see
how that would actually help address any of the issues. The DRS and AD
issues are being worked over as diligently as resources permit, and many
were rightly deferred from 4.0, and need to just be pushed to 4.2 at
this point.

I see three categories there:
 - DRS or AD issues
 - missing manpages
 - very few other issues

Certainly we need a good set of release notes, and given that Debian
will also issue an RC bug for missing manpages, we really should be able
to fix those, but I would be entirely comfortable with a release, even
without he remaining issues fixed, given current resources. (As those
resources are not likely to change drastically soon).

Now, I don't want to put you in a position of trying to guess which are
'real blockers' and which are not, so I'll help out on that, but I
wanted to give you my overview opinion.

Thanks,

Andrew Bartlett
