That said - this page is intended to just contain a set of ideas of projects
you could work on. Ideas, not well-rounded project plans. Since the ideas
were mostly added by Samba committers, you can expect that picking one as the
start for your application gives you a good shot. The list is however by 
no means exhaustive.

It would still be nice to see the GTK+ frontends be extended further and ported
to GTK+3.

As Dhananjay mentioned, he hit issues with the Python bindings
for some of the DCE/RPC interfaces, which affected *some* of the utilities
in Samba-GTK. 

I don't see why fixing the issues with the DCE/RPC python bindings could/would
not be a part of a SoC project improving Samba-GTK.
