Rowland,

All the people with "samba.org" email addresses? We're here to help.

If you wish to flame us, what we work on, and how we do it. You may find
that help much more difficult to obtain.

We only have so many hours in a day. Do we work on the user's bug who told
us to go .... ourselves basically, or one who wants to be constructive and
is pleasant to work with.

You can convey the SAME sentiments without offending those around you. If
Jeremy is laying into you... one of the team's most valuable resources is
closing off to you simply due to your attitude.

I do use a non-Linux platform, and Jeremy is right. It IS harder. Heck,
sometimes I can't even BUILD releases. I work on it when I can, as I can.
But if I haven't been working on it for 3-4 months... I expect problems.

In conclusion: You should think about your approach to your problems, and
why you aren't getting the treatment you want. But don't shoot off your
mouth about what you don't understand. You might turn off another
developer. Like me.

Good luck,

-Ira
