There are some last minute bugfixes (without which we felt could
not ship an RC1) and some polishing work.
And the dates for the releases from master can also only
ever be hints, since the commits need to go through our
"autobuild" machinery which can take many(!) hours in congested
times... Only after the patches have reached their final
destinations in the master branch.

This is why you have not seen the announcement yet.
So please be patient for a couple of more hours. :-)

We are working on fixing the RC1 and it will be announced
later today or early tomorrow.
