CTDB failover and power management

Just a question...

I had someone ask me today whether or not CTDB has access to the power 
management interface on a node and if CTDB would ever force a node to shut down.

I've never heard of such a thing.  To my knowledge, CTDB doesn't play with 
power and leaves all such decisions to the underlying Cluster system.  Am I 
right?
