Andrew had expressed a firm suspicion that my patches
blocked him from pushing. Even if we had made that Ack a
rule, I would have seen that as an implicit Ack. I know how
annoying it can be to be blocked from pushing by flakey
tests, and I will go very far to not impose this annoyance
knowingly on anybody else. The code is not lost, it can be
re-applied later on after the problems it has caused.
