Please continue to work with Jeremy on this in bugzilla.  From my
perspective, it would be helpful if you could reproduce your issues in
as simple a manner as possible:  No modifications to idmap.ldb, no extra
things in the directory, running samba and nss_winbind on the DC. 

The document the exact setup steps, then exact steps to reproduce etc.

Perhaps none of these things will matter, but as we need to reproduce
any issues you have to fix them, this process will greatly assist us.
