idmap.ldb now has this:
type: ID_TYPE_BOTH
type: ID_TYPE_UID
type: ID_TYPE_GID

Not sure when the change was made, but recently.

Andrew: any idea on the question about winbind being able to recognise 
home directories according to unixHomeDirectory rather than just 
/home/WORKGROUP/user?
