Thanks for doing that, particularly with such a simple and elegant
patch.  

I remain concerned that we need to test all these build combinations,
but given the broad range of systems that don't have MIT krb5 1.9 (I was
surprised by MacOS Lion being on krb5-1.7) this makes a lot of sense.
