Samba 4.0 beta2 in two weeks time, roadmap to release?

That aspect has to be taken into account, indeed...

Yes, we should provide a list of features that we want/need to
have in the final. These features should have landed in master
to a certain level of completeness at the point in time we do
the RC1. If we agree on such a list and have not reached a good
stage end of July, we would consider doing more betas. That was
my understanding.

I tried to start such a list of things to do in my earlier mail
in this thread. The SMB2 / SMB3 work was definitely part of that
and I would be willing to argue for doing more betas if we have
a realistic change of getting more of these incredibly important
file server features into 4.0. (I think it is realistic.)
