sorry for answering late!

I agree on leaving RC1 in your hands and to take it over for RC2.
I'll be back in the office on Monday, so things will be easier after that
(hopefully ;-).

The docs build is a challenge due to very specific technical issue that
depend on the versions used on the build system. I am not sure if the same
issues exist in the s4 docs also. It makes sense to check
-if the manpages have been built properly
-the Samba4-HOWTO is complete (inlcuding graphics)
-the subdirectory "images" exists in docs/htmldocs/Samba34-HOWTO.

If you provide a preview tarball, I would gladly have a look at the
documentation if you like.
