Yes, it would need to do those gensec calls. This code is a bit tricky,
but it is also key to getting this patch tested, so I'm very happy to
work with you closely on this (we probably need a chat on the phone).
So you can survey the area before we chat, the calls needed are in the
source4/torture/rpc/remote_pac.c file.
