set custom attribute upon 'net ads join'

Hi List,

Is there a way to set a custom computer attribute (or update it later).
Right now I know there is possible to use 'osname' and 'osver' options in 'net ads join'.

I would like to fill for example serialNumber as well.

The only way I am aware of is using 'kinit -k' and common ldapmodify command to do this, but using 'net' would be more elegant.
