Andrew,

adding /usr/local into CFLAGS/LDFLAGS brings it's own can of worms
into the build process
and we've discussed that many times on  IRC. The common answer I got
was to play with
pkg_config. On a bright side Samba 4 alpha 18 builds way smoother on
FreeBSD that previous
versions.

I'd also like to know the way to specify lookup directories for
certain libs in WAF.
