Windows 8 can join to Samba3 domain?

Recently I examined if Windows 8 developer preview can join to Samba3
domain (I used Samba 3.5.6). 

I found that even if DomainCompatibilityMode set to 1, Windows 8 still
sent CLDAP queries, tried to connect to RPC (135/tcp) and at last
failed to join to Samba3 domain.

(Of course DNSNameResolutionRequired is set to 0.)

This behavior is recognized as a problem to fix? Or Samba Team accepts
that Windows 8 can not join to Samba3 domain? Or I mistook something?
