Support for Mac OS X?

Is it possible to join a Mac running a "recent" version of OS X to a Samba4
domain?  I'm guessing (hoping) the answer is yes, but I don't have a Mac at
my disposal that I can test with.  I'm not looking for full support of the
Apple file sharing protocols -- just the ability to log in as a domain
based user and get to Windows shares.
