Amitay and abartlet worked out many of these issues for me in the past few days, when did you download your source? If it were me, I would backup your /usr/local/samba (if that is where your private, sysvol, and etc directories are) and rebuild samba, and redo your samba3upgrade. Good Luck, Ricky
