intermittent test failures

Hi Metze,

We've started getting a lot of intermittent test failures for the
following 2 tests:

 samba3.smbtorture_s3.plain(s3dc).RW1.smbtorture
 samba3.smbtorture_s3.crypt(s3dc).RW1

The timing of when the tests started failing makes me suspect this commit:

can you see any way that this change would have introduced the
intermittent test failures?
