certainly sounds like the correct long-term fix. However seeing how the
current version broke simo's packaging of samba4 and the code
responsible for the breakage wasn't really working yet, this was the
cleaner quick fix.

I'll add an extra module for it and do the appropriate configure magic
once the module is working in a private branch.
