FYI. There are two patches to bug #8219 (which is also a
blocker) that should also go into 3.6.0.

Metze has already blessed the first attachment, just
waiting on his review on the second attachment. The
original bug reporter has confirmed that with both
patches the bug is completely fixed.

Both fixes are already in master.

Just trying to coordinate things whilst I'm in
